Kristy Esquibel

Kristy is executive vice president and chief credit officer of First Southwest Bank in Alamosa, Colorado, where she oversees credit quality, underwriting, loan operations, and special assets. She has been with the bank for more than 10 years and has held leadership roles across credit and lending, and before becoming chief credit officer was senior vice president and lending manager. She is passionate about supporting rural communities and leads with a mission-driven focus on responsible lending and creative financing solutions. She serves as president of the Alamosa Chamber of Commerce, sits on the local economic development board, and teaches financial literacy to youth and small-business owners.

Kristy earned a bachelor's degree in finance and marketing from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, an MBA from Colorado State University–Pueblo, and a certification from the Western States School of Banking.
